Eric and Shayla Jameson

Eric and I got engaged on 11/11/11, and from that day forward, the wedding planning had begun! My husband had always wanted to elope, and I had dreamed of a large traditional wedding here in BC.

Needless to say, we needed to find a 'happy medium' and to start our marriage off on the right foot!

We decided to take on the daunting task of planning a destination wedding, and it very quickly became obvious, we needed help! Trying to choose a resort from afar, and attempting to book our guest's trips from several different departure cities seemed next to impossible. I received Kim Crosby's business card from some friends who had attended a bridal fair in Victoria, BC, and knew without a doubt this was the woman we needed on our side!

Kim took the time to get to know our tastes, likes and dislikes, and listened carefully to what was important to us. During our very first appointment, we were leaning towards choosing a resort to solely accommodate our guests, somehow forgetting this day was actually about Eric and I! Kim gently reminded us that this special day was about us, and presented us with further options that she thought were more compatible with our visions and dreams. Did she ever nail it on the head!

Kim was always on-top of things! She worked very closely with us, and although we didn't live in the same city, there was never any doubt that all of the planning would be completed in a timely manner, and that all of our requests would be addressed. When planning such an important event from so far away, it's only natural for a couple to worry that something may go wrong. Kim is your biggest advocate! She is always on your side, and will do anything to keep a couple happy... even from across the continent! Kim made sure that everything was perfect!

Eric and I had the time of our lives! Getting married at the Azul Beach, followed by an incredibly romantic honeymoon at the El Dorado Casitas was a dream come true! We couldn't have accomplished this without you Kim! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we can't express how much we appreciated all of the work you put into our wedding and honeymoon. :) It was truly the best 2 weeks of our lives!
